Chapter 345: The World Of Bloomkin.

Valerian followed Boo-too inside the portal and soon found himself in a new world. This place seemed to be a forest, but the mana concentration was so intense that it made him feel suffocated. The young man could not help but take a few moments to get used to such a high-purity mana.

Boo-too asked with a smile, "Did you find it overwhelming?"

Valerian nodded and said, "Even the Dragon kingdom or the realm of the Clar-awks might not have such a high concentration of mana. I fear inhaling too much of this mana might cause me to explode."

Boo-too nodded and said, while floating forward, "You are correct. Your mother was the same when she visited us."

Valerian was surprised, and the Bloomkin said, "I owe your mother a great deal. If not for her, the bloomkin would have perished a decade ago."

The young man was surprised when he heard all this. After all, bloomkins were one of the strongest existence on this planet. They may look like flowers, but they had the strength to make even the dragons bow their heads.

Boo-too could understand Valerian’s surprise and said, "You might think that the bloomkin are invincible, but the truth is far from that. Bloomkin is a flower species. We were created by Vita when she wanted to define Life and death. Do you understand what I am trying to say?"

Valerian thought momentarily, then nodded as he replied, "Life and death are two sides of the same coin. Since the bloomkin signifies Life, they must face death too. As you mentioned, the bloomkin is a flower species, meaning your species’ life span is short."

Boo-too nodded and said, "We bloom and wilt with the change of seasons. Only the crown is blessed not to wilt. However, that also comes with a price."

Valerian was surprised, and Boo-too said, "When your mother passed away, my species decided to watch over you. The threat of the Tyrant and your living conditions demanded that we did so."

The young man tilted his head in confusion, and Boo-too replied, "Every night, when you were bullied or injured, you would go to sleep in pain. However, did you never notice that you would be all better and healed when you woke up?"

Valerian opened his eyes wide and recalled his life in the orphanage, where he would receive treatment from Diligentia and go to bed. Comparing that to the effect of a lesser healing spell, he realized it was odd for him to heal completely.

He opened his eyes wide, and then, after regaining consciousness, he said, "Thank you for your care, Your Excellency."

Boo-too nodded and said, "Actually, you should thank my clan. They all are bearing the burden of keeping me awake."

Valerian was surprised again, and Boo-too said, "We discussed that only the strongest among us should watch over you. The crown is the strongest Bloomkin in existence. However, the crown cannot and should not intervene with the mortal world until the crisis is catastrophic. So, I, being the second strongest, was selected for this task.

While watching over you, I could not wilt, so they all used a secret magic spell and diverted the effect of weather from me to themselves. As we talk, my entire clan is asleep under the shroud of that spell."

Valerian asked, "Your Excellency, what is the method to break this spell?"

Boo-too smiled and said, "I will certainly use it after the battle with the Tyrant ends. If I used it any earlier, they would condemn me."

Valerian was at a loss. He did not know what to say when faced with something this selfless. He sighed and followed the lady as they moved deeper into the realm. The young man asked, "Your Excellency, why is there no guard present?"

Boo-too replied, "They are everywhere. You are just not paying attention to them."

Valerian looked around, but he did not find anyone. He was confused, but then he realized that he was looking for a human, which was wrong. At this moment, he met the biggest shock of his life. The place was a forest. The only thing different from the rest of the forests was the floor.

Every inch of the ground was covered with flowers. They were all sorts of flowers and did not reveal any movement. Valerian did not spot any humanoid doll hidden behind the petals either. However, the sensation coming off from these flowers made his body shiver.

He could bet that all these flowers were bloomkins, and they were terrifying warriors. Thinking that they were not even the strongest of the race was scary. Boo-too nodded and said, "It is good to fear what you do not understand. However, ensure you do not let the fear get the better of you."

Valerian nodded and calmed his mind. As they moved deeper inside the realm, Valerian discovered that the bloomkin was a relatively silent species. Boo-too said, "Overtime, you have suffered battles and traumas. The injuries are hidden and prevent you from unleashing your true potential."

The young man did not speak as he did not understand what the lady was going on. Boo-too continued, "Before you enter the valley of death, you should restore your body to the peak and learn to utilize its ability completely. Tyrant Immortuous is strong, and his mind is also cunning."

Valerian nodded at her words. He had never looked down on his enemy. On the contrary, he was unsure of how he would face him. However, he was not afraid of him. Boo-too took him through an area that looked like a garden. The serenity of the place made him enter such a calm state of mind that he forgot everything, why he was there, where he was going, and what he had to do.

All sorts of questions, stress, and everything in his mind vanished. He was so calm that the world appeared to be still. Valerian did not know what happened, but Boo-too was smiling. She said, "Remember this feeling, Young Valerian. This state of mind will help you in the battle."

Valerian nodded instinctively and immersed his mind in this feeling. The young man’s brain was getting addicted to this sensation; he had never been at such peace. Boo-too did not say anything but quietly waited for him to break out of the sensation. This was the effect of all the flowers in this place.

After half an hour, when Boo-too frowned and wanted to wake up, Valerian’s body shivered. He woke up from a state of calm with a startled expression. He asked, "Your Excellency, what just happened to me?"

Boo-too nodded and said, "You entered a state we call absolute zero. Everything around you seemed to have frozen still. This state is immersive and can swallow a person’s sanity if not carefully handled. You can use this state when fighting Tyrant. I have heard that he is very quick."

Valerian nodded. Boo-too gestured for him to follow her as they came to a pond. The lady said, "This is the pond of life."

Valerian found himself looking at a pond made of milky white liquid. He could sense a strong vitality radiating from the pond and asked, "What is this pond?"

Boo-too smiled and said, "Legend says that this was a normal pond, and then while Mother Vita was looking after a flower, she pricked her finger. The drop of blood from her finger dripped inside the pond. The energy was so strong that it gave life to all of the bloomkin. This is why we are also known as the first children of the goddess."

Valerian nodded with awe flashing in his eyes and said, "To think that Tyrant wants to be compared with someone who can give life by accident. Is he not too absurd?"

Boo-too smiled and said, "Some of us might take offense if you label us an accident."

Valerian scratched his nose and asked, "What are we doing here, Your Excellency?"

Boo-too replied, "We will refine your body and life energy. Mortals do not know that a person’s life energy is the key to their potential. If your life energy is five times bigger than that of normal people, then consider the Tyrant to be at least ten times stronger than you in this aspect.

You will start by ingesting the water from the pond. However, one drop at a time. Any more and your body will not be able to tolerate it."

Valerian asked, "Your Excellency, how long will this process last?"

Boo-too smiled and said, "You might need one month to process one drop."

Valerian was shocked and said, "Is this really necessary? The time we have is short."

Boo-too chuckled and said, "The mystery of the realm of bloomkin is that time here is slower. One hour outside in the mortal world is one day here. You can go on to practice without any worries."

Valerian finally realized how little he knew about the world of magic.
