Chapter 1257: My Sexual Orientation Is Completely Normal
Thomas Fisher waited expectantly for Easton Holmes to say something nice, but what he finally heard was not what he hoped for. He felt a bit disappointed, though not surprised at all.
Easton Holmes has always been someone who says and does anything without holding back, and won’t say nice things just because of someone’s status. His good friends know this about him very well.
Knowing this, Ryan Taylor went to Easton’s house to persuade Thomas Fisher together, and it seems he made the right choice today. He didn’t have to say anything further; his good friend had already sorted things out, and the effect was perfect.
"Alright! Pull yourself together, don’t be like a wilted eggplant every day." Ryan Taylor stood up, walked to Thomas Fisher, bent down and sat beside him, then reached out to pat his shoulder, silently cheering his good friend on.
Thomas Fisher slowly lifted his lowered head, tilted his head to look at Ryan Taylor who had just sat down beside him, but he didn’t respond verbally, instead, he gave a reassuring smile.
After talking that day, Thomas Fisher fully realized his problems. He no longer blamed the world for everything, nor did he drown himself in alcohol. He devoted himself wholeheartedly to his career.
He wanted to work harder and harder to become stronger. He believed Alice Turner would definitely return, and when she does, he would use his strength to create a sky full of love for her.
Knowing that Thomas Fisher had returned to normal, Ryan Taylor and Easton Holmes could finally relax. Although they seemed at ease, each had their own worries and stresses.
Ryan Taylor was recently troubled. In his thirties, he had become an older bachelor in his parents’ eyes, especially to his mother Harriet White. Seeing Easton Holmes about to welcome his second child, she was completely anxious.
Now, she didn’t care about anything else, focusing solely on one thing — finding a wife for her son.
Harriet White either forced Ryan Taylor to go on blind dates or dragged him to various single parties, which made him unbearably annoyed, but his mother never got tired of it.
Ryan Taylor went to the Linton Family to complain to Easton Holmes, asking for advice on how to deal with his mom’s pressure to marry.
"Why don’t you just bring a daughter-in-law home to your mother? That way, she wouldn’t drag you to matchmaking sessions." Before Easton Holmes could say anything, Lily Turner already spoke up. She looked Ryan Taylor up and down carefully, then added, "Bro! You’re quite the handsome guy, why can’t you find a girlfriend? You wouldn’t happen to be interested in..."
"Stop right there! My orientation is perfectly normal." From Lily Turner’s eyes, Ryan Taylor saw her speculation. Before she voiced her thoughts, he raised a hand to cut her off.
At these words, Lily Turner blurted out, "If your orientation is normal, then why don’t you find a girlfriend?"
Since she got to know her brother, she hadn’t seen a woman around him, leading her to suspect he might be gay for quite some time.
"Having a woman around is too much trouble, always meddling in everything, it’s so annoying. I think being single is better." Ryan Taylor’s reluctance to find a girlfriend was largely due to this factor.
Hearing her brother say this, Lily Turner disapprovingly widened her eyes, "Looks like uncle’s pressure to marry isn’t strong enough. I’ll call him and suggest he steps it up."
With that, a phone appeared right in front of him.
